The reason behind this is declared as a major skill gap between the available jobs and the skills of the jobseeker. This lack of jobs forced young minds, mainly women seeking financial stability, to enter the already saturated domestic labor force of 71.8 million, with 2m young Pakistanis entering the same market every year.
At Qalam, our mission is to mend this gap by upskilling youth with the most demanding IT skills that help them secure a stable, high-income career. To date, up to 2,390 of our 3,000+ trainees are now successfully employed and earning a stable income to support their families
